Tequesta DeSouza is an enthusiastic Career Coach in Florida. She is always excited about learning and, in the same spirit, loves to propel job seekers forward with her wealth of knowledge and experience. While much of her professional career has been devoted to the Human Resources field, her career started in child welfare.  During her short tenure as a child advocate and in her current role as a Human Resources professional, Tequesta realizes the need to equip young people to enter the workforce. She has become a passionate advocate for young adults trying to find their way through their career search.

This was her inspiration in launching Future Unleashed, LLC., a company dedicated to providing young adults with the tools and career coaching services they need to be successful in their job search.

As a Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience spanning the non-profit, government, and for-profit sectors, Tequesta’s passion has always been providing career coaching services to young adults for their future success in the workplace.  Tequesta’s comprehensive skill set includes Recruitment and Selection, New Employee Onboarding, Internship Program Management, Employee/Labor Relations, Professional Development, and Training.

Tequesta is a Career Coach in the Miami area with a depth of knowledge and experience she uses to help others. Valued for her expertise and professionalism, Tequesta was recognized in 2016 as a Power Leader in Human Resources by the South Florida Business Journal.  She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, a former president, and an active member of the Human Resources Association of Broward County.  Tequesta DeSouza holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University – Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, and certifications as a Senior Human Resource Professional Certification (SPHR) and Society of Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
